Every birthday is more than a celebration. It is a ceremony of becoming.
For me, birthdays are not simply a marker of age. They are a sacred pause—a time to reflect on where I’ve been, honor what I’ve learned, and intentionally step into the year ahead. Every September, I perform what I call my Annual Reign Ceremony, a personal ritual that reminds me to live with purpose rather than by accident.

Before the Celebration Comes the Pause
Every birthday marks more than another year around the Sun—it offers an opportunity to pause before stepping into what’s next.
Before I choose a theme for the year…
Before I make new plans…
Before I celebrate…
I stop.
For me, this is the beginning of the Annual R.E.I.G.N. Ceremony.
Rather than rushing into another year, I create space to listen. I honor what has brought me to this moment, acknowledge what is asking to change, and intentionally prepare for the chapter ahead.
This pause reminds me that celebration is not simply about looking forward. It is also about honoring the journey that made this moment possible.

Why I Call It A Reign
Last year marked my Coronation.
Year 50 wasn’t simply another birthday—it was the moment I consciously stepped into my Golden Era. A coronation, however, is only the beginning. What follows is the reign. A reign is not defined by a crown. It is defined by the daily choices that shape a life. Year 51 begins that work.
Quietly. Intentionally.
One decision at a time.
